Raw and unrefined, Wrathike come tearing out of Italy on a hellbent mission to chew you up and spit you out whilst banging heads along the way. Very aggressive, with lots of energy, this is a solid enough, if slightly unpolished debut album from a band that has been around for about five years. There has been a number of roster changes and it looks like they have tried their fair share of singers in the formative stages of the band, but seem to have solidified and gelled together nicely. The music as stated above is a bit of a full throttle aggressive form of traditional, speedy metal. The song writing is pretty good, but you can tell this is a debut album as the band Is still sort of finding themselves a bit on here. The production quality is a bit on the rough side and that does detract a bit from the music, but still a very solid first effort. The songwriting should improve as the band matures together. The singer does a solid job, though he has that thick Italian accent that really takes some getting used to. Overall not a mind blower, but a workmanlike effort and a strong foundation in which this band can grow on.
