The band was born in Turin (Italy) in January 2012, by the idea of Mattia Scifo
(singer and guitarist) to form a band inspired by the great Heavy Metal
classics, with a speed approach to the genre. Found the members for the
first line-up, Mattia began to arrange the first songs with Daniele Ilardi on
drums, who later will record the drum session of the debut Ep “Too Hot to
Roll”. The line-up changed many times and the band found difficulty to reach
stability and to find members devoted to the cause. During November 2012,
Alessandro Pira joins Death Magic as guitar player and the mechanism begins to engage in the right way. In the same period the band find even a bass player
(Andrea “RockHead”), so that the line-up is for the first time complete!
So, during February 2013, the band starts recording in studio the drums for the
debut Ep, but unfortunately after few days, Death Magic’s line-up is again
incomplete…for inner problems of the band Daniele and Andrea leave Death
Magic. Mattia and Alessandro don’t give up and after a month Lorenzo Boano
and Tony Cipudda (Alessio Matricardi) join the band respectively as bass and
drums players. The debut Ep “Too Hot to Roll” was released during September
2013. Death Magic history seems to be always marked to take the fall, since
during Jenuary 2014, Mattia (Vocals, Guitar and founder) leave the band and a
big emptiness...Luckily after few weeks, Beppe Brugnano (ex-Walpurgis
Night) joins Death Magic as Singer! The band with Beppe has composed several new songs and with the arrival of Simone (ex-Walpurgis Night, ex-Don't Kill The Spider) on guitar, Death Magic are ready to march on a new path!

Inspired by the rock-scene off ...the '60s and until today, DRöN is a potent rock-duo with smashing drums, howling guitars and screaming vocals. The music is created from the thesis of getting a dynamic and hard-hitting sound out of the duo format. The riff is in the front, when DRöN creates their melting pot of distorted amplifiers, primal-singing and rocksolid drums!

HellCircles are born in November 2008 from the idea of the singer and
keyboardist Marco Parisi and the guitarist Roberto Fornaroli, joined in a short
time by Fabio Pedrali on guitar and Davide Ravara on drums, for a long time
together in foregoing line-ups. The aim is to create a style that merges the
main influences of each one of the four members; the result is a mix of
elaborate and kicking rhythmics and melodies, fast tempos and
melodic yet aggressive vocals. The line-up is later completed by Danilo
Arisi on bass and after few months, in May 2009, the band conceives its first
work: “Stillness”, a 5 track-demo album, recorded at New Sin Studio in Loria
(Treviso). The EP gets very good reviews from specialized webzines and magazines around the world, being also elected "demo of the month" by some of them (Metal Maniac, Rock Hard, Metal Demons, etc.). Thanks to the unanimous consent received by the critics, some songs of "Stillness", as well as obtaining many passages in radio programs, including the famous "Friday Rock Show" on Radio BBC6 and conducted by Bruce Dickinson, frontman of Iron Maiden, are also included on compilations like "Metal Sampler Vol. 1" by the argentine label Highlights Records, "Kill City Vol. 20" by the american 272 Records and "WorldDEMOns 2009" by the italian webzine Metal Demons.
Despite the changing of the line-up, that leads Francesco Ravara, talented and young guitarist, to replace Fabio Pedrali, the live activity performed by the band, to promote this first studio work, is unceasing. Are held, in fact, in a few months, more than 30 shows, sharing also, in some cases, the stage with great bands and artists like Uli Jon Roth (ex Scorpions), Elvenking, Strana Officina, Elektradrive, Node, Killing Touch, etc. and to take part in the 21° and 22° edition of Cremona's Motorock, prestigious event that, over the years, has seen the participation of bands like Saxon, Riot, Virgin Steele, Rage, UDO, Primal Fear, Edguy and many others. In September 2010, the band signed with the English label Rising Records for the release of their debut album, scheduled for early 2012. Unfortunately, shortly after, the label fell into deep financial troubles
and ceased all its activities for the year after. The band was therefore
forced to a stop for a while and had to postpone any commitment subscribed until then. When all contractual problems were solved, late in 2013, a new
agreement with the italian label Valery Records (Pino Scotto, The Fire, Trick Or
Treat, Clairvoyants, etc.) was signed and the debut album was announced to be released on April 22 2014. The album will see the participation of Ralf
Scheepers (Primal Fear) as a guest singer.
My good friend and bandmate Gordon Burchell and I began this story when we
created Eternal Winter in 2002. It was originally an idea just intended to be a
very short tale that we could write a few song lyrics about. Instead, it turned
out to be an epic saga that all of Eternal Winter’s music would be based around. I always recall long nights of Gordon and I staying up late in my basement after band practice, smoking Marlboros, working on the story, drawing maps, discussing ideas, and relating them to song lyrics. These ideas would develop into all kinds of themes for our stage-show (which was quite dramatic back then). These would include Stage props, narration parts, keyboard interludes inspired by a certain mood or vibe of a specific scene from the story, etc.
Although we do still try to get together about once a week to work on the
story, nowadays everyone’s lives are much busier and it is more like a chapter
of the story will be written after the two of us discuss it over the phone or
during a band-rehearsal. Then, I will write song lyrics based on a specific part
of the story.
Many of our songs are very narrative and stick strictly to direct events
taking place in the concept story. Some are quite descriptive and have lyrics
that are mostly lines taken right out of the text. However, a few become
broader. Sometimes a song could be not so much about a specific part, but more like a description of the overall epic vibe of what is going on. Often times a song could even just be about a certain character’s thoughts or intentions.
Having this variety is great because even if you are not into the concept
story, you can enjoy the music as just quality epic metal without having to pay
attention to the conceptual aspect. On the other hand, if you do follow the
story then everything is related in some way, even if some songs are more
specific than others.
The Saga is far from being complete, but we have everything planned out and
will be adding new chapters and updates to the website regularly. We hope that
everyone else loves The Eternal Winter Saga as much as we do.

Jimi Hendrix already played the heaviest shit; he cannot be outdone. We strive
to follow his example, and the examples of many of his disciples. We see the
schism between heavy and psychedelic as null. True heaviness IS psychedelic, as the recordings of Hendrix demonstrate. For the last 40+ years, metal has surely gotten more brutal, but has often left its psychedelic origins to wither. We
hold that our metal should be both heavy and trippy.

Since their formation in 2009, FYRETYRE from Dresden slide on dusty riffs,
rhythmic stick beats, heavy bass and screaming roar. Being clearly stoner
metal, they also deliver a quite unique sound and a dynamic interplay of strong
riffs, melodic solos, clean passages and earth shattering grooves. Since their 2011 first EP release Defyance, the fiery tires are on their way to the stages
of desert. The brand-new EP "Desert Rodeo" (2014) delivers a new level of
complexity to the sound by adding some crazy breaks and rhythms.
