Witches of Doom are a goth-stoner-doom band born in Rome in January 2013, when Federico Venditti –guitars-, DaniloPiludu –vocals- Jacopo Cartelli-bass- Andrea Budicin-drums- got together and started their own musical project in order to play a personalised mix of 80’s goth, 70’s hard rock blended with a 90’s sensibility that harks back to Type o’Negative and Moonspell among others. The Roman ensemble started to write their own material and in just a few months the bulk of the debut album was already panned out. Witches of Doom want to play in front of an audience and in Spring 2013 they embark on a series of live dates within the Roman circuit where they will establish their name as one of the hottest bands in the Roman underground music scene.
Last Autumn the band finished arranging the ten tracks that will end up on their debut CD, “Obey” and in November they entered the Hombre Lobo Studios with Fabio Recchia as producer and sound engineer . The ten tracks recorded in those sessions represent a huge step forward, with defined arrangements thanks to the keyboard work of Fabio and Graziano “Eric”Corrado. The first names that spring to mind to give you an idea are Black Sabbath, Cult, Paradise Lost, Sisters of Mercy and Depeche Mode. Graziano “Eric”Corrado is now a full on member of the group who are on the verge of embarking on a live tour in Italy and possibly abroad. In March Witches of Doom sign with sliptrick records to promote and distribute their album. In April 30th the album "Obey" is avalaible in all the most popular digital platforms (itunes, google, spotify, amazon...). Some days later they launch their official web site where it’ll be possible to purchase the official merchandise, watch videos and keep updated with the bands activity. A video will be shot for the first single “Needless Needle”.
From the small rural mining town of Muswellbrook, out of the air that is full of
coal dust emerges a new take on small town metal. Over the past 8 years this
band has slowly been forged into what it is today. 2 founding members from the
band "Masters of Orion" and an addition of a new singer and an extra guitarist
have evolved years of friendship into a tight metal foundry able to pump out the
Ferrite, Alluminium, Titanium, Lead, and other forms of metal's, all kids today should have in their diet! No one sub genre could define these guys, with each member having distinct influences from Slayer to Trivium and Opeth to Metallica there is nothing stale or boring about this band. Fresh, different, original, familiar, 4 words that easily describe the Evocatus sound, a sound which many old school metal fans will find they are missing in todays "brutal or nothing" metal scenes.
Get your furnace, anvil, peening hammer, blood and sweat ready for Evocatus!!! \m/
Soul Dealer is a metal band from Barcelona. They started the project in 2012, after the dissolution of a metal covers band called Metal jukebox, in which they played around three hours of show, reviewing the hits of artists like Metallica, Maiden, Pantera, Dio ... After two years playing in Catalonia, they decided to try with their own songs. After several months writing and rehearsing, they shut themselves in Moontower Studios, where they recorded ten songs, produced and mixed by Javi Félez, and mastered by Dan Swanö in Unisound Studios, Sweden. The album is called "A price to pay" and it was released on June 1, 2014 in digital format through Bandcamp. It consists of ten songs that could be defined as thrashheavymetal. F.A.C.E. is the brainchild of Villy Neshev - a renowned guitarist within the music circles in Sofia, Bulgaria. For many years he had been an integral part of Velvet Project, a highly respected technical progressive metal band. Villy also has recorded and released albums with metal acts Project Arcadia, Rampart, Dragomir Draganov’s Alter Ego, and contributed to thrash metal legends Exhumator in the past. The band has been together since 2010 and is a gathering of well known names in the local progressive music scene
- singer Ivan Chelavrov, a fellow bandmate from Velvet Project, keyboard player Viktor Dimitrov (Overgame), bassist Yordan Yordanov (Metalbolizm), and drummer Victor Alexandrov (Liquid Pension). Work on a debut album takes part up to 2013 when all the tracks are recorded at Zero Project Studio, and subsequently mixed and mastered by Oggy Kiossovski from Kontrol - one of the most legendary and influential bands in Bulgaria. Lyrically and musically “A New Light” is a conceptually connected story comprising of 5 songs and 4 instrumental pieces, all showcasing Villy Neshev’s exceptional guitar skills, but also featuring beautiful vocal harmonies, intricate keyboard/guitar interplay, and a thunderous rhythm section. “A New Light” was presented with a packed and highly successfull live show on 29.05.2014 and ever since the album has been
unanimously praised by both fans and music media critics.
The concept was born in 1994 in Dani Primeval’s mind. After 18 years of
learning, experimenting and performing in many projects, Dani decides in 2013 to abandon them and involve himself entirely in Primeval Essence. Therefore, Dani begins compiling material and produces, between 2013 and 2014, Primeval Essence’s debut called The Moon And The Wanderer; a mixture of Dani’s influences that go from metal to Celtic, to name a few.
At the time Primeval Essence is a one-man-band, but Dani is preparing a duet
with his friend Hyban Sparda in order to play the songs live in an acoustic
Genius, mastermind, musically gifted, unbelievable: these are all words that
the boys in Hellborn Death Engines definitely know how to spell. This Calgary-bred crew of ragamuffins unleashed their furious thrash metal sound—heavily influenced by video games and pop culture—at their first show in February, 2013. The band, officially formed in 2011 but with roots harking back to 2009, has since gone on to tear mercilessly through Alberta, leaving empty beer cans and melted faces in their wake. Now, they are working on releasing their debut album, “Welcome to the Hellmouth”, scheduled for July of 2014. When not recording, they have been diligently refining their craft through click track jam sessions and bouts of Mariokart 64. The boys at Hellborn Death Engines have left an immediate imprint on t̶h̶e̶i̶r̶ ̶f̶r̶i̶e̶n̶d̶s̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶f̶a̶m̶i̶l̶y̶ the scene, and the future is
undoubtedly bright for this mismatched four-piece. It’s gearing up to be a
catastrophic display of disregard for both their bank accounts and well-being;
don’t miss out on the fun.
