Very solid debut effort from a promising young metal band out of Germany, this self-titled and self-released EP is a fine example of the underground metal industry. Very solid production and artwork round out this release. Musically, the band has been around for only a couple years, but already have a very mature sound. Bringing a mix of influences from traditional to NWOBHM to power to thrash to sprinklings of a bit more modern, overall its mostly a melodic thrasher with solid old school metal roots. They fit nicely in to the current metal scene and show a ton of promise in one of the best releases of an already stacked 2015. In fact, my one chief complaint is its length. I am a bit biased towards full length albums and maybe they didn’t have the time or funding or whatever to release a proper full length, so I am not really going to knock them on this. If this is just a taste of what to expect from this young metal band, I eagerly await the next heaping helping. Major butt kicking here!!
